Pixie-Bob Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Cancer

This is a courtesy posting.... This is Minx. Female spayed. About 13 yrs old. Up to date on vaccines and has a current clean bill of health. She had mammary cancer in 2011 and was treated for it (she had a radical mastectomy and went through chemo). Her treatment went well and she fought through it. There has been no sign of the cancer since. She does have a prolapse due to the fact she is a Manx or possibly a pixie bob. It does not cause her any pain and she does not require any medical treatment. It does cause her to have soft stool however. She is one of the most loving cats. She has lived with other cats and dogs and got along ... (Read More)fine with all of them. She is a very sweet girl and loves to cuddle but can be needy. Her adoption fee is $40.00s * We know she doesn't have much time on earth with her age being up there, but if she doesn't find a home to finish her time off at, she is in danger of going to the animal shelter....and we all know what will happen there. PLEASE open your heart and home to this wonderful cat thats been through alot already. Please contact (520) 999-1758 OR 480-628-5058 if interested in meeting Minx How is rescue possible? Rescue is made possible by the compassion of individuals who open up their home to foster an animal and the generous tax deductible donations made by private citizens. We are at Petsmart on Chandler Blvd. & the 101 (Lowes Plaza) in Chandler on most Saturdays and some Sundays. PLEASE call or email prior to coming to visit a cat, kitty, dog or puppy to be sure we will be there and your favorite is still available. We do try to remove them right away from the internet once they have a home, but there are times that we error and don't take them off as soon as we would like to. This Pet is currently in foster. The adoption fee includes micro-chipping, spay/neutering, and shots. Email: OR call: (480)-628-5058. Please leave a message, and we will get back to you. THANK YOU! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - FOR SMALL DOG FOSTER HOME Desired Skills and Expertise: **FOSTERING: (Volunteering) a loving & safe home. **FUNDRAISING: (Commission based) someone that can interact with the public and possibly some computer skills to be able to surf the net to find places that can be used to generate funds for our non-profit ... Rescue. "volunteer" Foster homes needed for puppies and small dogs in the East Valley. Kit Kat Rescue is a 501c3 and we really want to be able to pull dogs from the Euthanized list at the dog shelters, but we are unable to do more because we do not have enough foster homes to take them in. Innocent dogs and litters of puppies, Cats and Kittens are euthanized because of HUMAN NOT spaying or neutering their pets, or not comprehending that animals are not disposable items. They are a life-long commitment. FOSTERING: Are you aware that as a Foster, it doesn't cost you any money? Food, medical needs, toys, leashes, micro-chipping and all the immunizations are paid for through the rescue. All you need to do is give them a nice warm, safe & loving home. We also ask if you are able to drop them off at our adoption center ( PetSmart: Chandler blvd & 101, in the Lowes shopping plaza) on occasional Saturdays and Sundays. If not, it's ok, we will get them. Same goes for their needed medical. ***Please open your heart and home to save an animal in need if you are able*** FUNDRAISING: this position is also available for someone that can take the bull by its horns and drum up some fundraising events that will help us feed and care for the over populated amount of Cats, Kittens, Dogs and puppies that we currently have. * This position will pay you a percentage of what's brought in to the Rescue. If any of this sounds like something you would love to do, please call us!!! THANKS!!! (Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, Gilbert, Queen Creek, Ahwatukee areas) (Less)
