Pixie-Bobs chirp to communicate; most do not meow. Pixie-Bobs were once incorrectly believed to have been descendents of wild Bobcats. Pixie-Bobs are named after the foundation cat for the breed, whose name was Pixie. Pixie-Bobs come from the Cascade Mountains in Washington State. Pixie-Bobs are about half the size of wild bobcats.
